Shooting Elephants

Hello, all.  The last couple of weeks I’ve been working on an assignment for Elephant Car Wash.  This is far outside my wheelhouse, but it’s been a fun challenge.  The spinning neon pink elephant, which turns in the shadow of the Space Needle in downtown Seattle, has been a Puget Sound Institution for over 60 years.  While Emily Crantz, photographer extraordinaire of Emily Ann’s Photography took the two Seattle locations for me, thus getting to shoot the famous Icon herself, I thought I’d share a few favorites from the shoot!

  1. I like your pictures. You have some really neat ideas. Especially the very first and second to last. I love that your first picture doesn’t looked washed out. I’m still working on that. The photo with the wheat is really cool. Nicely done my dear.

  2. Thank you so much for the oppertunity to take photo’s for you. Also for mentioning me and my photography site. That was vey sweet of you. I look forward to getting to know you more, and bouncing idea’s off one another for photo’s.
